We are withdrawing the DMU on Abuja Kaduna Train Service (AKTS) from TUESDAY 19th-THURSDAY 21st OCTOBER,2021 for scheduled maintenance. The DMU will return back to operations on FRIDAY 22/10/21. Tuesday 19th & Wednesday 20th will be four trips each (I:e AK1, KA2, AK9 & KA10).Thursday 21/10/21 will be 8trips ( AK1, KA2, AK3, KA4, AK7, KA6, AK9 & KA10) respectively, While full train service will return on Friday. The attention of the Nigerian Railway Corporation(NRC) has been drawn to the activities of some fraudulent persons using various dubious means including text messages and social media platforms to lure unsuspecting members of the public to apply for jobs in the NRC. For avoidance of doubt, we wish to state as follows: 1.That NRC is currently not recruiting. 2.That NRC will advertise all vacancies, whenever it is ready to embark on a recruitment exercise. 3.That members of the public, particularly unsuspecting applicants, should be wary of fraudulent online sites where they demand for money for NRC jobs. 4.That NRC will not demand payment in any form for any job placement. 5.That anyone who deals with the peddlers of these fraudulent sites does so at his or her own risk. 6.That anyone contacted for the purpose of the purported recruitment other than through advertisement duly placed by the Corporation in the National newspapers and our official website (www.nrc.gov.ng), should report to the relevant law enforcement agencies.
